Higher Technician in Civil Projects Student
I recently graduated with a Higher Technician degree in Civil Engineering Projects in Spain. Throughout my studies, I have developed practical skills in areas such as surveying, graphic representation of urban planning and civil engineering projects, topographic surveys and layout, as well as in linear construction projects, such as road alignment.
I consider myself an adaptable and solution-oriented person, with the ability to work in teams and quickly learn in dynamic environments.
My goal is to contribute to projects in my field through professional internships in a company outside my home country, with the aim of expanding my knowledge and gaining further experience in the work environment related to my area of study.
Throughout this course, I have developed projects that involve 2D modeling, creating plans, and representing construction details and sections. Additionally, using MDT9, I have carried out road alignment designs and conducted topographic surveys.
Revit, like AutoCAD, has been one of the tools that has captured my attention the most. Along with SketchUp, I have learned to represent and model in 3D, utilizing the digital tools these platforms provide. In most projects, I have used AutoCAD to create 2D plans and then represented them in 3D using Revit or SketchUp.
Using topographic tools such as the total station and a prism, I have learned to capture and record specific points within a designated area, applying techniques like traversing. I then create the topographic survey in AutoCAD and, with the help of MDT9, generate a point cloud that facilitates drawing the corresponding plan.
During the summer of 2024 and the summer and fall of 2025, I was part of the lifeguard and children’s Camp Counselor team at Camp Sealth, located on Vashon Island, Washington, United States. This experience allowed me to refine my language and social skills, as well as integrate and work within a multicultural team. Through direct exposure to another culture, I developed key competencies such as English proficiency, responsibility, problem-solving, and adaptability.
